SQF Edition 10 audits start January 2027. Is your program ready? Learn more →

Food safety software

Your food safety program, on one system.

Beacon replaces the binders, spreadsheets, and disconnected tools with one record for HACCP, documents, traceability, audits, and corrective action. Built and tested inside a working SQF plant, with Audit-Ready AI underneath.

The standards you answer to

Templates, records, and review tools cross-walked to the schemes and regulations food operations audit against, kept current by our auditor team as editions change.

One connected system

Follow one swab result through the whole program.

Point solutions each hold a piece: a monitoring app here, a document folder there, CAPAs in a spreadsheet. Beacon holds the chain. The swab record in the window above is one out-of-spec result moving through every module, and every module writes to the same record.

The swab

A result out of range

An environmental swab comes back over the limit.

Investigation

Alert and investigation

The right people are notified and an investigation opens against the result.

CAPA

Corrective action

A CAPA opens, linked to the sample, the site, and the root cause your team records.

Trend review

On the next trend read

The result lands in the EMP trend the next review reads, not in a forgotten spreadsheet.

Audit packet

The audit packet

The whole chain assembles into a packet when an auditor or retailer asks.

Roll-up

The roll-up

Leadership sees it on the cross-facility dashboard the same day.

Built for your operation

What kind of operation do you run?

Trace any lot in seconds. Run the audit from your desk.

Production, quality, documents, and supplier records live on one append-only system that stays audit-ready every day, not just audit week.

Audit-ready on every shift, across every unit.

Your team runs daily checks, logs photo evidence, and files incidents from the floor.

Every customer walled off. One platform to run them all.

Switch between customers in a click, with their SOPs, audits, and records scoped to each one.

The dashboard

Know where the program stands without a status meeting.

The dashboard rolls up open corrective actions, overdue tasks, upcoming audits, expiring certifications, and trend lines across one facility or fifty. Drill into any site for detail. You catch a facility heading for trouble before it becomes an audit finding, instead of hearing about it on the monthly call.

  • Cross-facility roll-up with drill-down to any site
  • Open CAPAs, overdue tasks, and expiring certs at a glance
  • Trend lines, not just today's number
  • Export-ready for management review

Audit-Ready AI runs underneath it: drafting corrective actions, checking SOPs for conflicts, and watching the regulations, with an evidence record behind every action it takes.

Audit day

Pull anything an auditor asks for in seconds.

These are cross-module questions. A point solution answers its slice; a program on one record answers the whole question. When the auditor asks, the answer is a search, not a scramble.

Audit checklist 6 / 6

Beacon allergen matrix with changeover and rinse rules per production area

One search returns the allergen SOP, the ingredient matrix, the changeover schedule, the label declarations, and who was trained on each. Five modules, one answer, because they share one record.

Explore Allergens

Beacon training records linked to controlled document versions

The document carries its version history, and the training records link to the version they were trained against. When the SOP changed in March, you can show who acknowledged it in April.

Explore Documents

Beacon environmental monitoring trends charted by zone

Swab results chart by zone and site, and the trend review is a record, not a memory. When the auditor asks what you did about the drift in zone 2, the review and the follow-up are on the same trail.

Explore Environmental

Beacon corrective action linked to the audit finding that opened it

The finding links to the CAPA it opened, the CAPA carries root cause, actions, and the effectiveness check, and the closure is signed. The follow-through is the record, not a story you reconstruct.

Explore Quality

Beacon document library with expiring-soon and up-for-review views

Expiry is tracked on the record, review tasks generate ahead of the date, and the dashboard shows what is coming due across every site. Nothing lapses because a calendar reminder lived on one person's laptop.

Explore Retention

Beacon audit packet with sealed manifest and checksum

Audit packets assemble from the records you already keep, with a sealed manifest and checksum. Switch on Audit Day Mode to focus the team and share a signed view with the auditor while they are on site.

Traceability is built in, not bolted on: transformation, shipping, and receiving events are captured from the first lot and export on demand. Enforcement is set for July 20, 2028; your records should not wait for it.

Getting started

Bring your program, or build a new one. Both end audit-ready.

Whether you have a working program or you are starting from a folder, Beacon adapts. Which path fits is a discovery-call conversation, not a checkbox, and both end the same way: a Beacon instance you can run an audit from.

Digitize

4 to 8 weeks

You have a working program. We move it onto the platform without losing what already works.

  • Documents and records migrated
  • SOPs and schedules mapped to the matching modules
  • Your team trained on the workflows they will run

Build

8 to 12 weeks

You are starting from scratch or close to it. We build the program with you, set up to pass an audit.

  • HACCP plan developed with you
  • SOPs and monitoring schedules stood up
  • A Beacon instance you can run an audit from

Connects to what you run

Beacon runs the whole food safety program natively. The business systems that stay connect at the seam.

Operator-built

Built inside a working plant, not a software lab.

Beacon was designed and tested at Roman Foods, an SQF-certified manufacturer in Michigan, by people who answer for the program on audit day. The bar for every feature was simple: would it hold up in front of an auditor.

Food safety software

Questions food safety teams ask.

Answers from the team that runs Beacon inside a working SQF-certified plant.

Every module in Beacon is food-specific: HACCP plans, CCP monitoring, allergen management, sanitation scheduling, lot traceability, environmental monitoring. A generic quality system makes you configure, customize, and compromise to fit food manufacturing. Beacon was designed and tested inside a working SQF plant, so it already works the way a food safety program works. You are not bending a tool to your program; the program is what it was built for.

Yes. Many facilities start where the pain is worst, usually document control or HACCP, with AI-customized compliance templates to start from instead of blank pages, then add traceability, CAPA, and environmental monitoring as the program matures. Because every module writes to the same record, adding one later does not mean re-entering data or stitching systems together. The program grows on one source of truth.

Each facility gets its own HACCP plans, documents, monitoring schedules, and permissions, while corporate sees a roll-up across every site. You can standardize SOPs from the top and still allow site-specific variation. Role-based access means a line lead, a QA manager, and a corporate director each see exactly what belongs to them, and nothing that does not.

It starts with a discovery call to understand your facility, your products, and your audit calendar. From there you take one of two paths. Digitize moves your existing program onto the platform in four to eight weeks. Build creates a new program with you in eight to twelve weeks. Both end with a Beacon instance you can run an audit from. SystemPath pairs the software with consulting so the program is set up correctly from day one.

That is the most common starting point, and it is what the Digitize path is for. We migrate your documents and records onto the platform, map your existing SOPs and schedules to the matching modules, and train your team on the workflows they will actually run. Nothing about your program has to be reinvented to move; what works on paper keeps working, minus the paper.

Pricing is a custom proposal sized to your operation: how many facilities, which modules, and whether consulting or training ride along. The discovery call scopes it, and you get the numbers in writing before you commit to anything. We would rather quote your actual operation than publish a tier grid that fits nobody.

The transformation, shipping, and receiving Critical Tracking Events, an EPCIS 2.0 JSON-LD export, and the FDA Sortable Spreadsheet are built in, and a transformation event is emitted automatically when a production run completes. Enforcement is set for July 20, 2028, but whether FDA's date moves or a retailer asks earlier, your records are captured correctly from the first lot. A recall trace runs forward and backward in seconds, from your desk.

SQFI expects Edition 10 audits to begin January 2, 2027. Edition 10 makes food safety culture, change management, environmental monitoring trend review, core-clause scoring, and cybersecurity within the food defense plan explicit. Beacon's templates and workflows carry the culture, change, and monitoring requirements, and its readiness insights weigh the core clauses the way Edition 10 does. For the cybersecurity requirement, the consulting team scopes the assessment with you and the documentation lives alongside your food defense plan. If you are certified today but not ready for Edition 10, this is the gap the platform and the consulting team close together.
